Moreover, they usually don’t understand what parents are experiencing in their quest to support their child throughout their entire life, not just right now. The whole experience can be very isolating
Through this network, you will get connected to a volunteer peer parent called Parent Partner (who has had a child with similar struggle as yours as closely as possible). The Parent Partner will be able to listen to your concerns and direct you to the relevant resources (providers, support groups or alternative therapies) and guide you and be a support for you in case required.
This network is one-of-a-kind, FREE, confidential resource for parents whose children are experiencing mental health challenges because we believe that parents are the best advocates for their children. And to be your child’s best advocate, you need tools, resources, and guidance. That’s where we come in.
