On June 2nd, 2024 we hosted the 3rd Pride Picnic at Livingston Oval. The event was a celebration of and for LGBTQ+ youth with music, art, food , games and more.

We are so impressed with an absolutely amazing response from the Youth all over New Jersey!! We had 65+ entries and the judges found it hard to pick the winners with so many phenomenal entries!!

The Pride Picnic 2023 was a huge success with hundreds of pre-teens/teens and families in attendance. This year the Livingston Township Diversity and Inclusion committee joined hands with Shiv’s Third Eye to collaborate and have the flag raising ceremony on the same day as Picnic. It was an amazing celebration of diversity & inclusion with live music, entertainment, food and activities!! Here are the performances and the speeches by the teenagers!

Livingston’s First Pride Picnic was a resounding success attended by 500+ community members made up almost 60% of teenagers. Everyone enjoyed beautiful performances, awesome arts activities(rock painting/face painting/chalk walk/community art project), games (volleyball, badminton, frisbee), live music and above all storytelling sessions by teenagers.

On March 30th, 2022 Heritage Middle School thrilling games of volleyball were played between the staff & students. HMS HSA raffled fantastic giveaways. The sale of games tickets raised $1500 in support of Shiv’s Third Eye. Thank you Heritage Middle School team and HMS HSA!!
