Shivs Third Eye

Livingston LGBTQ+ Parents Support Group

The Livingston parents support group of LGBTQ+ children meets at the Community Center in Livingston, NJ monthly.  This is a parents-only support group, and the privacy of children is taken seriously. The group is open to parents living in Livingston, or the surrounding communities, with children who identify themself as LGBTQ+ or are exploring their LGBTQ+ identities.

The Livingston LGBTQ+ Parent Support Group was originally founded in 2020 by Norah Kartagener, Zanna Lantzman, Jennifer Raz, and other local mothers who discovered they were facing similar family journeys in the discovery of LGBTQ+ lifestyles. They quickly learned there is a strong need in the community to share resources, and stories, and to provide support for each other. As a result, they opened their small group to others who found them through mutual contacts. The group is to make connections with families facing similar discoveries and to share resources and social interactions. The founding Moms, Shiv’s Third Eye co-founder, Shilpa Kulkarni are collaborating to promote this mission widely.
